Answer employee benefit questions from the plan summary
- For HR and recruiting
- You practice Keeping the AI to your sources
- Time about 5 minutes
- Level Intermediate
About this exercise
Write an FAQ answering the three employee questions in the material, using only the plan summary and the update. Format each as "Q: ..." then "A: ...", in the order asked, answers under 30 words each. Use the corrected enrollment date from the update. If the summary does not answer something, the answer is exactly: Please ask the People Team. Plain text. No advice on which plan to choose. HR reviews before sending.
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- Old date. The AI uses Nov 13 from the draft. Try: Say: "Use the corrected date from the Nov 3 update."
- Guessing at orthodontics. The AI says it is probably not covered. Try: Say: "If the summary does not say, answer exactly: Please ask the People Team."
- Wrong format. The AI writes paragraphs or adds extra questions. Try: Say: "Exactly three Q:/A: pairs in the order given."
- Trusting the AI to count words. AI is bad at counting. Ask for a total word limit and it often lands over it. Try: Cap each part instead, for example: "each line under 15 words."
- Markdown. The AI bolds words or adds headings. Try: Say: "Plain text, no bold, no headings."
