About this exercise
Summarize the handbook section for the intranet in plain text as exactly three bullets, each starting with "- " and under 18 words. Bullet 1 is what the rule is, bullet 2 is the deadline or limit, bullet 3 is who to contact. No intro line and no closing line. Use only the section text. Do not give legal conclusions. HR reviews before posting.
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- Old figure. The AI uses 10 days. Try: Say: "Use the current section, 5 days."
- Intro and closing. The AI adds 'Here is a summary'. Try: Say: "Exactly three bullets, no intro or closing line."
- Bullet jobs. The AI mixes the rule, limit and contact. Try: Say: "Bullet 1 rule, bullet 2 deadline or limit, bullet 3 contact."
- Trusting the AI to count words. AI is bad at counting. Ask for a total word limit and it often lands over it. Try: Cap each part instead, for example: "each line under 15 words."
- Markdown. The AI bolds words or adds headings. Try: Say: "Plain text, no bold, no headings."
