Fill this template in plain text with labels in order: Role:, First 30 days:, Days 31-60:, Days 61-90:, Check-in dates:. Under 130 words. Each period has at most 2 short lines starting with "- ". Use only goals in the notes, each tied to a measurable result when the notes give one. Do not add performance ratings or pay. The plan is shared with the new hire, so avoid private comments.

Common mistakes when you ask AI for this

  • Leaking private notes. The AI mentions the last hire or 'faster'. Try: Say: "The plan is shared with the new hire: leave out private comments."
  • No measurable results. The AI writes 'learn the system'. Try: Say: "Tie each goal to the number or date in the notes."
  • Template. The AI invents sections. Try: Say: "Labels in this exact order, at most 2 lines per period."
  • Trusting the AI to count words. AI is bad at counting. Ask for a total word limit and it often lands over it. Try: Cap each part instead, for example: "each line under 15 words."
  • Markdown. The AI bolds words or adds headings. Try: Say: "Plain text, no bold, no headings."
