Prepare short German interview answers at B1 level

  • For Job seekers
  • You practice Keeping the AI to your sources
  • Time about 5 minutes

About this exercise

You're interviewing for a job in Munich and the first questions will be in German. Get exactly 3 numbered answers in German, one per question, each under 25 words at B1 level, with the English in parentheses after each. Use only true facts from your notes, including the corrected years of experience. Answer 2 must also say you can start on April 1, which the recruiter asked about. Under 180 words, plain text.

Common mistakes when you ask AI for this

  • Missing the corrected number. The AI may use 6 years, the first number in your notes. Try: Add: "I have 5 years of experience, not 6."
  • Letting the AI match the posting. The AI may add SAP because the job mentions it. Try: Add: "I've never used SAP. Use only facts from my notes."
  • Leaving out your start date. The AI can't know the recruiter asked when you can start, so it leaves it out. Try: Add: "In answer 2, say I can start on April 1."
  • No English to check. The AI writes only German, so you can't be sure what you're memorizing. Try: Add: "Put the English in parentheses after each answer."
  • Answers too long to say. AI interview answers run 80+ words, too much to say at B1 level. Try: Be exact: "Exactly 3 numbered answers, each under 25 words, B1 level."
  • Forgetting where it's going. AI adds bold and headings that show up as stray symbols in your practice notes. Try: Add: "Plain text, no bold, no headings."
