About this exercise

Your Italian 101 quiz covers regular -are verbs in the present tense. Get exactly 5 numbered fill-in-the-blank sentences in Italian with the infinitive in parentheses, each using a different subject from io, tu, lui/lei, noi, voi, loro, then a line "Answers" and the key. Use only verbs from this week's list, which your instructor corrected. Under 100 words, plain text.

Common mistakes when you ask AI for this

  • Missing the correction. Your list still shows 'andare', and the AI will use it. Try: Add: "Leave out andare; it's irregular."
  • Not limiting the verbs. The AI picks common verbs from all groups, including -ere and -ire. Try: Add: "Only parlare, mangiare, lavorare, abitare, studiare, ascoltare."
  • Repeating the same subject. The AI writes most sentences with io, so you don't practice the other endings. Try: Add: "Use a different subject in each sentence."
  • Answers mixed in. The AI puts each answer right after the sentence. Try: Add: "All answers at the end under a line that says Answers."
  • No count or length. The AI gives 10 or more sentences with grammar notes. Try: Be exact: "Exactly 5 numbered sentences, each under 10 words."
  • Forgetting where it's going. AI adds bold and headings that show up as stray symbols in a printed quiz. Try: Add: "Plain text, no bold, no headings."

What a strong prompt includes
