About this exercise
Write the description for a calendar invite in plain text with exactly four lines starting Purpose:, Decision needed:, Pre-read:, Come prepared to:. Use only the latest facts. Each line is under 14 words. No greeting and no sign-off.
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- Naming the old pre-read. The AI points to v2. Try: Say: "Use the latest facts: the pre-read is v3."
- Adding logistics. The AI mentions lunch and parking. Try: Say: "Only the four labeled lines; leave out logistics."
- Vague decision. The AI says "decide on pricing". Try: Say: "Name the two options being chosen between."
- Wrong shape. The AI writes a paragraph with a greeting. Try: Say: "Exactly four lines starting with these labels."
- Markdown. The AI bolds labels. Try: Say: "Plain text."
- Trusting the AI to count words. AI is bad at counting. Ask for a total word limit and it often lands over it. Try: Cap each part instead, for example: "each line under 15 words."
