- For Small business owners

- Time about 5 minutes
- Level Beginner
About this exercise
You run a pop-up shop event on Saturday. Write exactly 6 lines in plain text: five role lines in the form [ ] Role - Name - start time, then a last line starting Open: that names the one role nobody can cover. Use each person only once, match people to their stated strengths, and respect their availability.
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- Putting Lena on cash. The AI ignores her dislike of money. Try: Say: "Match strengths: Priya on cash."
- Ignoring availability. The AI schedules Jess in the morning. Try: Say: "Respect start times and end times."
- No open role. The AI fills all six roles. Try: Say: "End with Open: the role nobody can cover."
- Wrong format. The AI uses bullets. Try: Say: "Format: [ ] Role - Name - start time."
- Markdown. The AI bolds roles. Try: Say: "Plain text."
- Trusting the AI to count words. AI is bad at counting. Ask for a total word limit and it often lands over it. Try: Cap each line: "each line under 12 words."
