About this exercise
Write the first 4 sentences you will say to a peer, Yusuf, about interrupting in meetings. Plain text, under 75 words. Sentence 1 sets the intent. Sentence 2 gives one dated example. Sentence 3 states the effect. Sentence 4 asks for his view. Use no labels, no words always or never, no guesses about why, and finish with a separate line: HR to review if this becomes formal.
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- Absolutes. The AI says 'you always interrupt'. Try: Say: "No always or never."
- Guessing why. The AI mentions stress. Try: Say: "Don't guess at his reasons."
- Missing the example. The AI is vague. Try: Say: "Give the Nov 12 example with Mei."
- Labels. The AI writes Situation/Behavior labels. Try: Say: "No labels; spoken sentences."
- Markdown. The AI uses bullets. Try: Say: "Plain text."
- Trusting the AI to count words. AI is bad at counting. Ask for a total word limit and it often lands over it. Try: Cap each sentence: "each under 18 words."
