About this exercise
Rewrite the paragraph so a warehouse worker understands it. Plain text, one paragraph of exactly 4 sentences, each under 16 words, using "we" and "you". Keep these facts exactly: the 2026 target, the date of the change and what happens to the night shift. Do not use any of these words: pivot, synergy, leverage, ecosystem, stakeholder, alignment.
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- Keeping jargon. The AI keeps 'footprint' and 'synergies'. Try: Say: "Ban pivot, synergy, leverage, ecosystem, stakeholder, alignment."
- Losing facts. The AI shortens away the dates. Try: Say: "Keep March 3, March 28 and 98% exactly."
- Promising the bus stop. The AI reassures about commuting. Try: Say: "Don't mention the bus stop."
- Too many sentences. The AI writes 7 sentences. Try: Say: "Exactly 4 sentences."
- Markdown. The AI adds bullets. Try: Say: "One plain paragraph."
- Trusting the AI to count words. AI is bad at counting. Ask for a total word limit and it often lands over it. Try: Cap each sentence: "each under 16 words."
- Trusting the AI to count words. AI is bad at counting. Ask for a total word limit and it often lands over it. Try: Cap each part instead, for example: "each line under 12 words."
