About this exercise

Write a short spoken script for a conversation with Tamar about late weekly reports. Plain text, 6 sentences, under 120 words. Sentences 1-2: Situation and Behavior with dates; sentence 3: Impact; sentence 4: a question asking her view; sentence 5: a specific request with a date; sentence 6: offer of help. Do not make guesses about why, and finish with the line: HR to review before the conversation.

Common mistakes when you ask AI for this

  • Guessing at causes. The AI mentions overload or boredom. Try: Say: "Do not guess why."
  • Missing the dates. The AI says 'recently'. Try: Say: "Name the dates: Oct 14, Oct 28, Nov 4."
  • No request. The AI ends with a general reminder. Try: Say: "Request: by Monday 9:00 starting Nov 18."
  • Too many sentences. The AI writes 10. Try: Say: "Exactly 6 sentences plus the HR line."
  • Markdown. The AI uses headings. Try: Say: "Plain text."
  • Trusting the AI to count words. AI is bad at counting. Ask for a total word limit and it often lands over it. Try: Cap each sentence: "each under 20 words."
  • Trusting the AI to count words. AI is bad at counting. Ask for a total word limit and it often lands over it. Try: Cap each part instead, for example: "each line under 12 words."
