About this exercise

Fill the team charter in plain text, one field per line, in this order: Team, Purpose, Customers, Decides alone, Escalates to, Meets, Success measure. Each field is under 18 words. Use only the notes, use the final meeting day, and write the success measure as a number with a date.

Common mistakes when you ask AI for this

  • Old meeting day. The AI uses Mondays. Try: Say: "The meeting moved to Tuesdays at 9:30."
  • Missing labels. The AI writes a narrative. Try: Say: "Seven labels in order."
  • Including the budget. The AI adds $12,000. Try: Say: "Leave out the budget."
  • Vague measure. The AI says 'improve onboarding'. Try: Say: "Success measure with a number and a date."
  • Markdown. The AI uses a table. Try: Say: "Plain text."
  • Trusting the AI to count words. AI is bad at counting. Ask for a total word limit and it often lands over it. Try: Cap each field: "each field under 18 words."
