Write battlecard replies that only use verified claims
Practice: Catching mistakes and made-up facts. About 5 minutes.
About this exercise
Sales wants a battlecard for the 3 objections they hear about a rival. Write exactly 3 numbered pairs, each as 'Objection:' on one line and 'Reply:' on the next, each reply under 25 words, plain text. Replies may use only claims marked verified in your notes, and must never put down the competitor.
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- Asking for 'a battlecard'. The AI builds a big doc with sections, strengths, weaknesses and talk tracks. Try: Be exact: "Exactly 3 numbered pairs: 'Objection:' then 'Reply:'. Plain text."
- Trusting the AI to count words. AI is bad at counting. Ask for a total word limit and it often lands over it. Try: Cap each reply instead: "each reply under 22 words."
- Using unverified claims. The 40% stat and the breach rumor are persuasive, so the AI uses them. Try: Add: "Only VERIFIED facts. No 40% stat, no breach rumor."
- Dodging the honest answer. The AI spins around the missing mobile app instead of admitting it. Try: Add: "Admit we have no client app, then give the browser fact."
- Trashing the rival. AI writes punchy comparisons that sound like attacks. Try: Add: "Never criticize Salonly. State our facts."
