About this exercise

Summarize the interviewers' written notes for hiring manager Ken Ortiz in plain text, under 130 words. Use these labels on separate lines: Evidence for:, Evidence against:, Not covered:, Conflicts:. Quote or closely paraphrase only what the interviewers wrote. Do not rank, score, compare to other candidates, or recommend hiring or rejecting. The hiring panel decides. HR reviews before it is shared.

Common mistakes when you ask AI for this

  • Including personal details. The AI repeats the pregnancy comment. Try: Say: "Leave out anything not about job-related evidence."
  • Recommending. The AI ends with 'Recommend moving forward'. Try: Say: "Do not rank, score or recommend. The panel decides."
  • Missing gaps. The AI skips what was not covered. Try: Say: "Include Not covered: and Conflicts: lines."
  • Free-form structure. The AI writes paragraphs with its own headings. Try: Say: "Use exactly these four labels in order."
  • Trusting the AI to count words. AI is bad at counting. Ask for a total word limit and it often lands over it. Try: Cap each part instead, for example: "each line under 15 words."
  • Markdown. The AI bolds words or adds headings. Try: Say: "Plain text, no bold, no headings."
