Compare youth soccer leagues on total cost for two kids
Practice: Catching mistakes and made-up facts. About 5 minutes.
About this exercise
You're signing up your two kids for spring soccer and comparing 3 leagues on total cost. You want exactly 3 numbered lines, one per league, each showing the math for both kids including required fees and sibling discounts (like "$120 + $120 - $20 + $40 = $260"), then a final line "Lowest:". Use only the flyer details, plain text, nothing else.
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- Forgetting required extras. The AI compares registration fees and skips uniforms and the ref fee. Try: Say: "Include every required fee for both kids."
- Counting a rumor. The Facebook comment says the ref fee gets waived, and the AI may drop it. Try: Add: "Use only what the flyers say."
- Getting a recommendation. The AI weighs practice days and picks for you, which wasn't the question. Try: Say: "Output only the 3 lines and Lowest."
- Not saying how many. The AI decides the length itself and usually returns more lines, one per league than you can use. Try: Be exact: "exactly 3 numbered lines, one per league."
- Getting markdown back. AI defaults to bold labels and headings, which show up as stray symbols in a text to your partner. Try: Ask for "plain text, no bold, no headings."
