Find child accounts whose owner breaks the hierarchy rule
- For Revenue operations
- You practice Setting limits and rules
- Time about 5 minutes
- Level Advanced
About this exercise
Check the seven child accounts against the ownership rule. Write a markdown table of conflicts only, with columns Child, Current owner, Should be, Reason (8 words or fewer), then a last line "OK: [child names, comma-separated]" listing the rest. Apply both exceptions. Under 90 words.
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- Ignoring the region exception. The AI flags Acme West and Dune Foods. Try: Add: "Exception (a): a different-region child keeps its own owner."
- Ignoring the ARR exception. The AI flags Birch Online. Try: Add: "Exception (b): ARR above $500,000 keeps its own owner."
- Missing the OK line. The AI explains why the other accounts are fine. Try: Add: "End with: OK: [names, comma-separated]."
- Long reasons. The AI writes sentences. Try: Add: "Reason 8 words or fewer; under 90 words total."
