About this exercise
Write an FAQ for new reps with exactly 4 pairs. Each pair is two lines: "Q: ..." (what the prospect says) then "A: ..." (what the rep says, under 25 words, in first person, spoken language). Cover these four situations in this order: loyal to vendor, contract not expired, switching is a hassle, vendor is cheaper. Use only the facts in the notes, no claims about the competitor's quality. Plain text.
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- Using the outdated cheat sheet. The AI repeats the 3-week migration and annual contract. Try: Add: "Ignore the 2024 cheat sheet; use the approved facts."
- Trashing the competitor. The AI says the other tool is unreliable to win the point. Try: Add: "Never criticize the competitor."
- Wrong order or count. The AI adds extra objections. Try: Add: "Exactly 4 pairs in this order: ..."
- Long answers. The AI writes paragraphs per answer. Try: Add: "Each A under 25 words."
What a strong prompt includes
- Sets the Q/A format
- Orders the four situations
- Limits answer length
- Bans trash talk
- Ignores the old sheet
