- For Managers and team leads
- You practice Asking for a format you can use
- Time about 5 minutes
- Level Beginner
About this exercise
Tomas Reyes has a 1:1 with you today. Write an agenda of exactly 4 plain-text lines, each like "10 min - Topic: detail", with minutes adding up to exactly 30. The first item is the topic Tomas asked for, for 10 minutes. Cover the two stalled deals by name. Leave out the vacation-policy question; it goes to HR. Under 110 words.
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- Minutes that don't add up. The AI writes four items of 10 minutes or an agenda of 35. Try: Add: "Minutes must add up to exactly 30."
- Burying his request. The AI starts with the forecast and puts coaching last. Try: Add: "The first item is negotiation coaching, 10 minutes."
- Agendaing the HR question. The AI adds a vacation-policy item. Try: Add: "Leave out the vacation question; it goes to HR."
- Wrong format. The AI uses a table or headings and long notes. Try: Add: "Exactly 4 plain-text lines like: 10 min - Topic: detail. Under 110 words."
What a strong prompt includes

- Sets the total
