Recommend the right plan for a buyer with the cost math
- For Small business owners
- You practice Setting limits and rules
- Time about 5 minutes
- Level Intermediate
About this exercise
Compare the three plans for this buyer in a markdown table with columns Plan | Monthly cost for 12 users | Fits? (Yes/No and a reason under 8 words). Then add one last line starting "Recommended:" naming one plan with the yearly cost as a calculation. Count costs for exactly 12 users including any add-on the buyer needs. Under 130 words.
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- Forgetting the add-on. The AI says Plus costs $300 even though 900 texts need the add-on. Try: Add: "Include any add-on the buyer needs."
- Recommending the top tier. The AI upsells Pro for phone support the buyer doesn't need. Try: Add: "Recommend the cheapest plan that meets every requirement."
- Using the old price. The AI uses $22. Try: Add: "Use 2026 prices only."
- Wrong shape. The AI writes a long comparison. Try: Add: "A 3-row table, then one Recommended: line."
