- For Sales and customer success
- You practice Setting limits and rules
- Time about 5 minutes
- Level Beginner
About this exercise
A prospect says "we're too busy to look at anything before year-end." Write a three-line talk track in plain text, one sentence per line, starting exactly with Acknowledge:, Reframe: and Ask:. The Reframe may use only the onboarding fact from the notes, with no guarantees. The Ask requests a 15-minute call on Tuesday or Wednesday next week.
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- Making a promise. The AI reaches for a guarantee to beat the objection. Try: Add: "Do not guarantee or promise any date or result."
- Using the old onboarding time. The notes mention both 6 and 3 weeks. Try: Add: "Use the current 3-week median."
- A vague ask. The AI ends with "let me know when works." Try: Add: "The Ask requests a 15-minute call Tuesday or Wednesday next week."
- Wrong shape. The AI writes a paragraph or bullets with bold. Try: Say: "Three lines starting with Acknowledge:, Reframe: and Ask:, plain text."
