Find the outdated claims in an AI answer about travel rules

- Time about 5 minutes
About this exercise
Your manager asked an AI search tool about the travel policy before the Denver trip, and you have the intranet pages it pulled from. Write exactly 4 numbered lines, one per claim, each starting with its topic and a label, like "1. Meals: Outdated" (topics Meals, Hotels, Flights, Receipts; labels Current or Outdated); every Outdated line gives the newer rule and the date of the page it comes from. Plain text, under 90 words.
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- Not mentioning dates. The AI treats both pages as equally true and may confirm the old limits. Try: Add: "When pages disagree, the newest one wins."
- Using fuzzy labels. The AI writes "partly accurate" or "needs nuance" instead of a clear call. Try: Add: "Label each claim Current or Outdated."
- Not asking for the new rule. The AI says a claim is outdated but doesn't give the new number. Try: Add: "For Outdated, give the newer rule and its page date."
- Trusting the AI to count words. AI is bad at counting. Ask for a total word limit and it often lands over it. Try: Cap each line: "each line under 20 words."
- Getting markdown back. AI bolds labels, which looks messy when you paste it into a chat to your manager. Try: Ask for "plain text, no bold."
What a strong prompt includes
