About this exercise
An AI search tool summarized rival app Driftly's new features for your roadmap review, citing 3 pages. Check each of the 5 claims only against the page it cites and write exactly 5 numbered lines, each starting with exactly one of Supported, Not in source or Contradicted, giving what the page actually says for Contradicted, and ending with the cited page number in brackets, like [2]. Plain text, under 110 words.
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- Asking "is this right?". The AI answers from what it knows about apps instead of checking each citation. Try: Say: "Check each claim only against the page it cites."
- Not using exact labels. The AI calls half-true claims "mostly accurate", so offline mode for all plans slips through. Try: Add: "Label each Supported, Not in source or Contradicted."
- Not tying lines to sources. Without the page number you have to re-check every line yourself. Try: Add: "End each line with the cited page number, like [2]."
- Long or formatted output. AI adds a strategy section in bold. Try: Add: "Only the 5 lines, each under 20 words, plain text."
What a strong prompt includes
