Build an ACT study plan around your latest scores
Practice: Giving the right context. About 5 minutes.
About this exercise
Your ACT is in 3 weeks and you need a plan you'll actually follow. Get exactly 6 numbered study sessions, each in the form 'Day: section - task' and under 15 words, plain text, with nothing on Wednesdays or Fridays because of practice and work. At least 3 sessions must go to your weakest section based on your newest practice test, not the old one.
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- Not saying how many sessions. The AI picks its own number, and it usually picks more sessions than you need. Try: Be exact: "Exactly 6 numbered sessions."
- Trusting the AI to count words. AI is bad at counting. Ask for a total and it often lands 20% over. Try: Cap each line: "each session under 12 words."
- Not pointing to the newest scores. The AI may average both tests or use the first one, and plan for math you've already fixed. Try: Say: "Use my most recent practice test (Nov 15)."
- Leaving out your schedule. The AI builds a perfect plan for a free week, including days you can't study. Try: Add: "No sessions on Wednesday or Friday."
- Letting the AI add generic tips. The AI fills sessions with standard advice like vocab lists instead of your actual problems. Try: Add: "Base each task on my notes and the counselor's tips."
