About this exercise
You're designing cover art for a client's new podcast, Night Shift Notes, using Midjourney. Get Claude to write one paste-ready Midjourney prompt: a single plain-text paragraph under 100 words that ends with --ar 1:1 and a --no list. The only text is the show title "NIGHT SHIFT NOTES", the design must still read at thumbnail size (one bold central image), it uses the 2 hex colors, and it shows no people or faces.
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- Not naming the tool. Without "Midjourney", the AI skips --ar 1:1 and the cover isn't square. Try: Add: "End with --ar 1:1 --no people, faces, logos."
- Keeping all the client's words. The AI puts the full title, host name and schedule on the cover, unreadable at 1 inch. Try: Add: "The only text is NIGHT SHIFT NOTES."
- Inventing the host's face. The AI describes a realistic nurse that would pass as the host. Try: Add: "No people or faces."
- Colors by mood. The AI says "moody blues" without the codes. Try: Add: "Use #1A2340 and #F2A541."
- Getting a design write-up. The AI writes headings and a few alternatives. Try: Add: "Output only the prompt, about 55 words."
What a strong prompt includes
