Catch unsupported claims in your portfolio bio
Practice: Catching mistakes and made-up facts. About 5 minutes.
About this exercise
Before updating your portfolio, check your bio for claims your records don't support. Ask for exactly 3 numbered lines: two starting 'Remove:' that each quote an unsupported claim and say what your records show, and one starting 'Add:' naming a strong true fact the bio leaves out. Plain text, nothing else, no rewritten bio. Write a prompt that gets that check.
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- Asking for a polish. The AI makes the bio sound even more impressive, keeping the false claims. Try: Show it: "Exactly 3 numbered lines: 2 starting Remove:, 1 starting Add:."
- Not checking against your records. The AI can't know 'award-winning' isn't true unless you tell it to compare. Try: Add: "Check every claim against my records and quote what to remove."
- Missing your best proof. The AI cuts claims but doesn't notice your real 32% result is missing. Try: Add: "The Add line names a strong true fact. No rewritten bio. Plain text."
