Check a front desk phone script against the clinic policy
Practice: Catching mistakes and made-up facts. About 5 minutes.
About this exercise
Your front desk wrote a new appointment-reminder phone script. Ask for a check against clinic policy: exactly 4 numbered lines labeled Fee, Arrival, Insurance and Cancel, each saying 'Correct' or 'Wrong' and, if wrong, what the policy says. Plain text, no rewritten script, nothing else. Write a prompt that gets that check.
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- Asking "does this sound ok?". The AI comments on tone and offers a friendlier version. Try: Show it: "Exactly 4 numbered lines: 1. Fee: Correct or Wrong ..."
- Not checking each fact. The AI may approve the script because it sounds polite, missing 3 outdated rules. Try: Add: "Check each item against the Oct 1 policy and say what it should be."
- Flagging everything. The AI may mark the 24-hour rule wrong too, or add a rewritten script. Try: Add: "Only real conflicts. No rewrite, nothing else. Plain text."
What a strong prompt includes
- Gives the labels
- Asks for Correct or Wrong
- Checks the policy
- Bans a rewrite
- Asks for plain text
