About this exercise
Write a chat message from Compliance to department managers. Plain text, under 60 words. Line 1 is exactly: Action by Nov 20: Then one sentence naming the module and its length. Then one dash line per person who still has not completed it, using the latest information. Last line exactly: Thanks, Compliance. Do not mention discipline, HR, consequences or the people who finished. No emoji.
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- Listing Ola. The AI uses the Nov 3 list. Try: Say: "Use the latest information: leave out anyone who completed."
- Threatening tone. The AI repeats the HR reporting threat. Try: Say: "Neutral tone. No mention of discipline, HR or consequences."
- Missing frame. The AI adds a greeting and a different sign-off. Try: Say: "Line 1 exactly: Action by Nov 20: Last line exactly: Thanks, Compliance."
- Trusting the AI to count words. AI is bad at counting. Ask for a total word limit and it often lands over it. Try: Cap each part instead, for example: "each line under 15 words."
- Markdown. The AI bolds words or adds headings. Try: Say: "Plain text, no bold, no headings."
