Condense messy account notes into a five-field account plan
- For Managers and team leads
- You practice Keeping the AI to your sources
- Time about 5 minutes
- Level Intermediate
About this exercise
Fill an account plan with exactly five labeled lines: Goals:, Stakeholders:, Risks:, Plays:, Next 30 days:. Each line is under 20 words. Use only current facts and leave out anyone who has left. Plain text, under 100 words.
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- Listing a departed stakeholder. The old notes mention Hana and her request. Try: Say: "Leave out anyone who has left."
- Using old goals only. The AI lists the July goals without current values. Try: Say: "Include current status with the goals."
- Long entries. The AI writes paragraphs for each field. Try: Name the five labels and cap each line.
- Getting markdown back. AI adds bold and headings by default, which show up as stray symbols where this is pasted. Try: Say "plain text, no bold, no headings, no asterisks".
- Trusting the AI to count words. AI is bad at counting and usually runs long, so a vague "keep it short" lands well over the limit. Try: Cap each part instead of the total, for example "each line under 15 words".
