Build a 45-minute QBR agenda that starts with the customer
- For Customer success managers
- You practice Asking for a format you can use
- Time about 5 minutes
- Level Beginner
About this exercise
Build a QBR agenda as a table with the header row exactly "Time | Topic | Lead". Five rows that start at 10:00 and run without gaps to 10:45. The customer's goals come first, open discussion gets at least 15 minutes, and there is no product demo. Plain text, under 70 words, table only.
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- Including the demo. The prepared topics list the demo, so the AI schedules it. Try: Say: "No product demo. The customer asked for talk time."
- Time gaps or overruns. The AI makes blocks that don't add to 45 minutes. Try: Say: "Five rows from 10:00 to 10:45 with no gaps."
- Wrong header. The AI adds columns or a title. Try: Give the exact header row.
- Getting markdown back. AI adds bold and headings by default, which show up as stray symbols where this is pasted. Try: Say "plain text, no bold, no headings, no asterisks".
- Trusting the AI to count words. AI is bad at counting and usually runs long, so a vague "keep it short" lands well over the limit. Try: Cap each part instead of the total, for example "each line under 15 words".
What a strong prompt includes
