Group messy renewal tasks by owner
- For Customer success managers
- You practice Asking for a format you can use
- Time about 5 minutes
- Level Beginner
About this exercise
Group the renewal tasks by owner into exactly three lines starting "CSM:", "AE:" and "Legal:". Within a line, separate tasks with semicolons and put each task's date in brackets. Leave out tasks the customer owns. Plain text, under 80 words.
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- Including customer tasks. The AI lists every task. Try: Say: "Leave out tasks the customer owns."
- Missing dates. The AI lists tasks without dates. Try: Say: "Put each date in brackets."
- Wrong grouping. The AI groups by date or mixes owners. Try: Say: "Three lines: CSM:, AE:, Legal:."
- Getting markdown back. AI adds bold and headings by default, which show up as stray symbols where this is pasted. Try: Say "plain text, no bold, no headings, no asterisks".
- Trusting the AI to count words. AI is bad at counting and usually runs long, so a vague "keep it short" lands well over the limit. Try: Cap each part instead of the total, for example "each line under 15 words".
