About this exercise
Reply to Mr. Osei. First line exactly "Hi Mr. Osei," and last line exactly "Wren, Support". Say you are reviewing the call, give the review time, and say what he can expect next. Do not confirm or deny that a credit was promised, do not accuse him of making it up, and do not offer any credit yourself. Plain text, under 70 words.
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- Confirming the promise. The AI says 'I'm sorry Kim promised that'. Try: Say: "Don't confirm or deny the promise."
- Denying or accusing. The AI says 'our records show no credit was promised'. Try: Say: "Don't deny or accuse; just review."
- Missing the review timing. The AI says 'we will look into it'. Try: Say: "Give 2 business days and say we email the outcome."
- Getting markdown back. AI adds bold and headings by default, which show up as stray symbols where this is pasted. Try: Say "plain text, no bold, no headings, no asterisks".
- Trusting the AI to count words. AI is bad at counting and usually runs long, so a vague "keep it short" lands well over the limit. Try: Cap each part instead of the total, for example "each line under 15 words".
What a strong prompt includes
