Write a ticket-close recap in three labeled lines
- For Customer support teams
- You practice Asking for a format you can use
- Time about 5 minutes
- Level Beginner
About this exercise
Write the ticket-close email to Jun. First line exactly "Hi Jun,", then three lines starting "What we found:", "What we did:" and "What to do next:", then last line exactly "Elif, Support". Plain text, under 70 words. Do not mention the other customers affected.
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- Mentioning other customers. The findings mention 38 others and the AI shares it. Try: Add: "Do not mention other customers affected."
- Missing the next step. The AI says 'let us know if it happens again'. Try: Say: "Log out and in; reply within 7 days."
- Wrong layout. The AI writes paragraphs. Try: Name the three labels plus the exact first and last lines.
- Getting markdown back. AI adds bold and headings by default, which show up as stray symbols where this is pasted. Try: Say "plain text, no bold, no headings, no asterisks".
- Trusting the AI to count words. AI is bad at counting and usually runs long, so a vague "keep it short" lands well over the limit. Try: Cap each part instead of the total, for example "each line under 15 words".
What a strong prompt includes
