About this exercise
New marketers confuse lead, MQL and SQL. Write exactly 3 lines in plain text, one per term, in the form 'Lead: definition - example with rate', under 90 words. Use only the definitions given, and for MQL and SQL give the conversion from the previous stage using the numbers in the notes, with one decimal.
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- Using the wiki note. The AI defines MQL as a pricing-page visitor. Try: Add: "MQL = lead score of 50 or higher; ignore the old wiki note."
- Generic definitions. The AI gives textbook definitions with no numbers. Try: Add: "Include last month's numbers: 1,000, 300 / 1,000 = 30.0%, 90 / 300 = 30.0%."
- Extra text. The AI adds a funnel overview. Try: Add: "Exactly 3 lines starting Lead:, MQL:, SQL:. Nothing else."
- Leaving the format to chance. The AI picks its own length and layout unless told the exact shape. Try: Add: "Plain text, no bold or headings."
- Trusting the AI to count words. AI is bad at counting. Ask for a total word limit and it often lands over it. Try: Cap each part instead, for example "each line under 15 words."
