About this exercise

Build a table with the header Time | Step | Owner | Channel for the announcement morning, sorted by time, with exactly five rows. Rules: the board chair hears first; the exec team hears before staff; staff and account managers hear at the same time and at least 30 minutes before the press release; use only the CEO's free windows for CEO steps. Use the final press release time. Plain text, under 110 words.

Common mistakes when you ask AI for this

  • Using the old press time. The AI schedules the release at 9:00. Try: Say: "Use the final press release time."
  • Ignoring the free windows. The AI schedules CEO steps in blocked time. Try: Say: "Use only the CEO's free windows for CEO steps."
  • Wrong order. The AI puts staff before the exec team. Try: Say: "Board chair first, exec team before staff."
  • Wrong owners or channels. The AI mixes them up. Try: Say: "Match owner and channel to each step."
  • Wrong table. The AI adds a column or text. Try: Say: "Exactly this header and five rows."
  • Markdown. The AI bolds the times. Try: Say: "Plain text."
  • Trusting the AI to count words. AI is bad at counting. Ask for a total word limit and it often lands over it. Try: Cap each part instead, for example: "each line under 15 words."
