About this exercise

Resolve the calendar conflicts using the CEO's rules. Output a markdown table with columns Conflict, Keep, Move or decline, Proposed action. The Proposed action cell for every move or decline must end with "(needs CEO approval)". Apply the rules in order of priority, use updated times, and do not move board or customer commitments.

Common mistakes when you ask AI for this

  • Moving a protected item. The AI moves the customer call. Try: Say: "Board and customer commitments never move."
  • Missing the approval tag. The AI states changes as done. Try: Say: "End every proposed move with (needs CEO approval)."
  • Ignoring the update. The AI keeps the CEO presenting at the all-hands. Try: Say: "The CEO is not presenting; the CFO is."
  • Wrong table. The AI invents columns. Try: Say: "Columns: Conflict, Keep, Move or decline, Proposed action."
  • Trusting the AI to count words. AI is bad at counting. Ask for a total word limit and it often lands over it. Try: Cap each cell: "each cell under 18 words."
  • Trusting the AI to count words. AI is bad at counting. Ask for a total word limit and it often lands over it. Try: Cap each part instead, for example: "each line under 12 words."
  • Adding bold and notes. The AI bolds cells and adds notes around the table. Try: Say: "Plain text: only the table, no bold, no notes."
