About this exercise
Check each expense line against the policy and write exactly 6 numbered lines in the form: 1. Line - OK or FLAG - reason under 10 words. FLAG if the policy is broken or a receipt is missing for amounts over $25. Do not approve anything: the last line must be exactly: Final approval: Finance, not me. Use only the policy as given today.
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- Using the old meal limit. The AI uses $60. Try: Say: "Meals up to $75 per day."
- Missing the receipt rule. The AI flags the breakfast without receipt. Try: Say: "Receipts needed only over $25."
- Approving. The AI says 'approved'. Try: Say: "Don't approve; end with Final approval: Finance, not me."
- Wrong format. The AI writes a table. Try: Say: "Format: N. Line - OK/FLAG - reason."
- Trusting the AI to count words. AI is bad at counting. Ask for a total word limit and it often lands over it. Try: Cap each reason: "reason under 10 words."
- Trusting the AI to count words. AI is bad at counting. Ask for a total word limit and it often lands over it. Try: Cap each part instead, for example: "each line under 12 words."
