About this exercise
Summarize the three executives' positions on extending the hiring freeze in a table with the header Executive | Position | Main concern | Evidence cited. One row each, with every cell under 12 words. Stay neutral: no word such as better, wiser, stronger or weaker, and no recommendation. After the table add the exact line: Decision owner: CEO, needed by Nov 21. Plain text, under 130 words.
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- Taking sides. The AI hints one view is stronger. Try: Say: "Stay neutral: no judgment words and no recommendation."
- Repeating the side comments. The AI quotes optimistic and too cautious. Try: Say: "Leave out personal comments."
- Missing evidence. The AI summarizes positions without numbers. Try: Say: "Evidence cited includes each person's figures."
- Wrong table. The AI adds a conclusion row. Try: Say: "Exactly this header, three rows."
- Markdown. The AI bolds names. Try: Say: "Plain text."
- Trusting the AI to count words. AI is bad at counting. Ask for a total word limit and it often lands over it. Try: Cap each part instead, for example: "each line under 15 words."
