About this exercise

Calculate the monthly cost of four recurring meetings. Output a markdown table with columns Meeting, Hours per month, Attendees, Monthly cost. Hours per month = length in hours x meetings per month; Monthly cost = hours per month x attendees x the hourly rate in the notes. Use the corrected attendee counts. Then one line starting "Most expensive:" with the name and cost. Output only the table and that line.

Common mistakes when you ask AI for this

  • Old attendee count. The AI uses 12. Try: Say: "Weekly status has 10 attendees."
  • Math slips. The AI forgets to multiply by meetings per month. Try: Say: "Hours per month = length x meetings per month."
  • No last line. The AI ends after the table. Try: Say: "End with Most expensive: and the cost."
  • Wrong columns. The AI changes the headers. Try: Say: "Columns: Meeting, Hours per month, Attendees, Monthly cost."
  • Trusting the AI to count words. AI is bad at counting. Ask for a total word limit and it often lands over it. Try: Cap it: "numbers only in the number cells."
  • Trusting the AI to count words. AI is bad at counting. Ask for a total word limit and it often lands over it. Try: Cap each part instead, for example: "each line under 12 words."
