About this exercise
From the table, name the three metrics that missed plan by the largest percentage, worst first. Write exactly 3 numbered lines like: 1. Metric - actual vs plan - miss % . Compute the miss % as (plan minus actual) / plan, rounded to a whole number. Use the revised actuals. Then a last line starting "Not a miss:" listing the metrics that beat plan.
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- Using the old actual. The AI uses 96 new customers. Try: Say: "Use the revised actual of 102."
- Direction confusion. The AI treats churn going up as good. Try: Say: "For lower-is-better metrics a miss means higher than plan."
- Missing the last line. The AI ends after the third item. Try: Say: "Add a last line: Not a miss: the metrics that beat plan."
- Wrong format. The AI writes a table. Try: Say: "Format: 1. Metric - actual vs plan - miss %."
- Trusting the AI to count words. AI is bad at counting. Ask for a total word limit and it often lands over it. Try: Cap each line: "each line under 18 words."
