About this exercise

Build a table with the header Option | New price | Customers left | Monthly revenue | Change vs today for Options 1, 2 and 3. Use the pilot churn figures, not the sales estimate. Show the working in the Monthly revenue cell like "900 x $100 = $90,000". Then one line: "Pick:" naming the option with the highest revenue among options that lose no more than 10 percent of customers. Plain text, under 120 words.

Common mistakes when you ask AI for this

  • Using the sales guess. The AI uses 8 percent churn for Option 2. Try: Say: "Use the pilot churn figures, not the sales estimate."
  • Skipping the working. The AI shows only revenue totals. Try: Say: "Show the working like 900 x $100 = $90,000."
  • Ignoring the rule. The AI picks the highest price or percent. Try: Say: "Pick the highest revenue among options losing no more than 10 percent."
  • Wrong table. The AI adds extra columns or rows. Try: Say: "Exactly this header and three rows."
  • Markdown. The AI bolds the pick. Try: Say: "Plain text."
  • Trusting the AI to count words. AI is bad at counting. Ask for a total word limit and it often lands over it. Try: Cap each part instead, for example: "each line under 15 words."
