About this exercise
Compare the two documents and list only real contradictions in a table with the header Topic | Strategy memo says | Budget says. Skip topics where they agree. Quote the figures exactly. After the table add a line "Contradictions found:" followed by the number. Do not decide which document is right. Plain text, under 120 words.
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- Listing agreements. The AI includes customers and marketing. Try: Say: "Skip topics where they agree."
- Choosing a winner. The AI says the budget should be fixed. Try: Say: "Do not decide which document is right."
- Paraphrasing figures. The AI rounds or generalizes numbers. Try: Say: "Quote the figures exactly."
- Wrong count line. The AI leaves out the count. Try: Say: "End with Contradictions found: and the number."
- Wrong table. The AI adds columns. Try: Say: "Exactly this header."
- Markdown. The AI bolds topics. Try: Say: "Plain text."
- Trusting the AI to count words. AI is bad at counting. Ask for a total word limit and it often lands over it. Try: Cap each part instead, for example: "each line under 15 words."
