About this exercise
From the eight items, pick the 3 the CEO must see. Write exactly 3 numbered lines in the form: 1. Item - why in under 10 words. Use this rule: items touching revenue over $100,000, a legal deadline, or a customer-facing outage rank above everything else. Order by the earliest deadline. Skip routine updates. Use the corrected facts.
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- Old amount. The AI uses $24,000. Try: Say: "Larkin is $240,000."
- Including routine items. The AI includes the logo variants. Try: Say: "Skip routine updates."
- Wrong order. The AI ranks by dollar value. Try: Say: "Order by earliest deadline."
- Wrong format. The AI uses bullets. Try: Say: "Format: 1. Item - why."
- Trusting the AI to count words. AI is bad at counting. Ask for a total word limit and it often lands over it. Try: Cap each line: "why under 10 words."
- Trusting the AI to count words. AI is bad at counting. Ask for a total word limit and it often lands over it. Try: Cap each part instead, for example: "each line under 12 words."
