Build a buyer's Saturday showing schedule in route order
Practice: Keeping the AI to your sources. About 5 minutes.
About this exercise
You're sending your buyers their Saturday tour. Write exactly 4 numbered lines in route order, each in the form "Time - address - one thing to look at", starting at 10:00 AM with 30 minutes between showings, plain text, under 70 words. Drop the house that just went pending, and pick each "thing to look at" from the buyers' own concerns. Write a prompt that gets you exactly that.
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- No fixed shape. The AI writes a friendly itinerary with descriptions of each house. Try: Be exact: "Exactly 4 numbered lines: Time - address - one thing to look at."
- Trusting the AI to count words. AI is bad at counting. Ask for "under 70 words" and it often lands well over. Try: Cap each part instead: "each thing to look at under 8 words."
- Keeping the pending house. The update comes after the list, so the AI keeps 88 Crescent. Try: Add: "Drop 88 Crescent Rd; it went pending."
- Wrong times. The AI keeps 5 slots or spaces them unevenly. Try: Add: "10:00, 10:30, 11:00, 11:30."
- Generic notes. "Check out the kitchen!" isn't what these buyers care about. Try: Add: "Pick each note from their concerns: light, yard, storage."
What a strong prompt includes
