About this exercise

Count the comments by theme for the team meeting. Write exactly 4 lines in plain text, sorted from most to least comments, formatted "Theme: count - quote". The themes are Speed, Price, Support and Other. The quote is copied word for word from one comment in that theme and is at most 8 words. Then a last line, exactly: Total comments: followed by the number. Under 70 words.

Common mistakes when you ask AI for this

  • Miscounting. The AI recounts and gets a number wrong. Try: Say: "Use the analyst tags: Speed 5, Price 4, Support 3, Other 1."
  • Paraphrased quotes. The AI rewrites the comments. Try: Say: "Copy the quote word for word, at most 8 words."
  • Wrong order or format. The AI uses a table or alphabetical order. Try: Say: "Sorted most to least, formatted Theme: count - quote."
  • No total line. The AI adds a summary paragraph. Try: Say: "Last line exactly Total comments: 13."
  • Markdown. The AI bolds themes. Try: Say: "Plain text."
  • Trusting the AI to count words. AI is bad at counting. Ask for a total word limit and it often lands over it. Try: Cap each part instead, for example: "each line under 15 words."
