About this exercise
Write a public Slack recognition for Yuki in plain text, no emojis, exactly 2 sentences, under 50 words. Sentence 1 names what Yuki did with a number from the notes. Sentence 2 says who benefited and includes the exact phrase "18 fewer hours a month". Start with the words "Shout-out to Yuki". Do not compare her to anyone else, do not mention her pay or promotion, and do not use the words amazing, rockstar or superstar.
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- No beneficiary. The AI skips who benefited. Try: Say: "Sentence 2: name who benefited, like the 6 account managers."
- Comparing to others. The AI says 'best on the team'. Try: Say: "Do not compare her to anyone."
- Hype words. The AI says rockstar. Try: Say: "Ban amazing, rockstar, superstar."
- Wrong start. The AI starts with 'Big thanks to'. Try: Say: "Start with Shout-out to Yuki."
- Missing the number. The AI says 'saved lots of time'. Try: Say: "Name 5 hours to 2 hours per account."
- Trusting the AI to count words. AI is bad at counting. Ask for a total word limit and it often lands over it. Try: Cap each sentence: "each under 25 words."
- Emojis and bold. The AI adds emojis. Try: Say: "Plain text, no emojis."
- Too many sentences. The AI writes a long post. Try: Say: "Exactly 2 sentences."
- Trusting the AI to count words. AI is bad at counting. Ask for a total word limit and it often lands over it. Try: Cap each part instead, for example: "each line under 12 words."
