About this exercise
Fill in the legal intake template from Priya's email for the legal team. Plain text, six lines starting exactly: Counterparty:, Contract type:, Fees:, Term:, Signer:, Needs from legal:. Use only what the email says. If the email does not say, write Not stated. Under 90 words. Do not answer whether it is okay to sign.
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- Inventing the signer. The AI guesses a signer such as Priya or the Facilities head. Try: Say: "If the email does not say, write Not stated."
- Answering the sign question. The AI says it looks fine to sign. Try: Say: "Do not answer whether it is okay to sign."
- Free-form summary. The AI writes a paragraph instead of the six lines. Try: Say: "Six lines starting exactly with these labels."
- Trusting the AI to count words. AI is bad at counting. Try: Say: "Each line under 14 words."
- Markdown. The AI bolds the labels. Try: Say: "Plain text, no bold."
What a strong prompt includes
- Lists the labels
- Not stated rule
- Only the email
- No sign advice
- Plain text
