Ask a requester for the missing details on a legal request

About this exercise

Reply to Jordan Pike's request with a short email that asks only for the missing details. Under 90 words. Start with "Hi Jordan," and end with the line "Thanks, Legal Ops". Ask for three things as separate sentences: the other party's name, the attached document, and the exact signing deadline date. State the standard turnaround from the Legal Ops note. Give no view on the agreement and no promise about the outcome.

Common mistakes when you ask AI for this

• Reassurance given. The AI says it is probably fine. Try: Say: "Give no view on the agreement."
• Missing the three asks. The AI asks vague questions. Try: Say: "Ask for the other party's name, the attachment and the exact deadline date."
• Greeting or sign-off off. The AI uses its own greeting and signature. Try: Say: "Start with Hi Jordan, and end with Thanks, Legal Ops."
• Trusting the AI to count words. AI is bad at counting. Ask for a total word limit and it often lands over it. Try: Cap each part instead, for example: "each line under 15 words."
• Markdown. The AI bolds words or adds headings. Try: Say: "Plain text, no bold, no headings."
