Post weekly team wins that credit the right people

Practice: Catching mistakes and made-up facts. About 5 minutes.

About this exercise

You post a 'wins of the week' message every Friday. Write exactly 3 bullets, each naming who did it and the result with its number, plain text, under 60 words. Credit only your team's work, use the corrected figure, and skip anything that isn't finished yet.

Common mistakes when you ask AI for this

  • Asking for 'a wins post'. The AI writes a cheerful post with headings, emojis and every item. Try: Be exact: "Exactly 3 bullets, plain text, no emojis."
  • Trusting the AI to count words. AI is bad at counting. Ask for a total word limit and it often lands over it. Try: Cap each bullet instead: "each bullet under 15 words."
  • Using the old number. 18% appears first, and the correction is easy to miss. Try: Add: "Lena's result is 14% (corrected)."
  • Crediting the wrong team. The returns team's win is in your notes, and the AI includes it. Try: Add: "Only my team's finished work. Skip Raul's team and Sam's unfinished project."

What a strong prompt includes
