List who a campaign must exclude, and why
Practice: Keeping the AI to your sources. About 5 minutes.
About this exercise
You're finishing the audience section of the brief for Copperline Bank's new credit card ads. Write exactly 3 bullets in the shape Exclude: who - why, each under 16 words, covering the exclusions compliance and the team agreed on. Don't add exclusions nobody agreed to, and use plain text with no heading.
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- Adding unagreed exclusions. Students and low credit scores are in the notes, and the AI includes them. Try: Add: "Only the 3 agreed exclusions."
- Dropping the why. The AI lists who to exclude without reasons. Try: Show it: "Exclude: who - why."
- Too many bullets. The AI writes a full audience section with bold headings. Try: Add: "Exactly 3 bullets, plain text, no heading."
- Vague reasons. The AI writes "not a fit" instead of the real reason. Try: Add: "Use the reason from the notes for each."
What a strong prompt includes

- Limits to agreed exclusions
