Write a club bake sale post with the right cause and spot
Practice: Keeping the AI to your sources. About 5 minutes.
About this exercise
You're posting about the Riverside College Nursing Students Association bake sale. Write the post under 45 words with the day, time and corrected location first, the prices, and where the money goes, ending with exactly "Cash and card accepted." No emojis, and use plain text.
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- Missing the location change. The Student Union lobby appears first. Try: Add: "We moved to the Library front steps."
- Wrong cause. The spring trip is listed first. Try: Add: "Proceeds go to the Free Clinic's winter coat drive."
- Emoji overload. Bake sale posts in the AI's training are full of cookies and hearts. Try: Add: "No emojis. End with: Cash and card accepted."
- Trusting the AI to count words. Posts come back at 80 words. Try: Cap it: "3 short sentences under 12 words each, then the last line."
- Getting formatting. The AI bolds the prices in a list. Try: Add: "Plain text, no bold."
What a strong prompt includes
