Write interest meeting subject lines with the new room
Practice: Keeping the AI to your sources. About 5 minutes.
About this exercise
You're emailing the interest list for the Northfield College Debate Society. Write exactly 4 numbered subject lines, each under 9 words, each with the meeting day and the corrected room. Never call the meeting mandatory and no ALL CAPS, and reply with only the plain-text list.
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- Missing the room change. Fowler 110 appears first in the notes. Try: Add: "The room moved to Garrison Hall 302."
- Leaving out the basics. The AI writes catchy lines without the day or room. Try: Add: "Each includes Wednesday and Garrison 302."
- Pressure and shouting. The AI copies last year's MANDATORY style. Try: Add: "Never mandatory or required. No ALL CAPS."
- Getting a long list. The AI writes 10 options with bold labels. Try: Add: "Exactly 4 numbered lines, plain text."
What a strong prompt includes
- Uses the new room
- Includes the day
- Rules out pressure
- Says how many
- Asks for only the list
